When given the task to create a wayfinding product, I decided to create an app that allows users to build and test their directional skills as they wayfind and orient within their environment. From my research, I decided the use of cardinal directions, gamified levels, and pop-quizes would keep it fun and productive for users. This new form of wayfinding will hopefully allow users to decrease their reliance on GPS, increase their awareness of their environment, and enable them to tap into their sense of direction as they hadn’t before.
